Weeknight Chicken Tacos with Sunshine Chili Aioli

A Taco Tuesday staple! Juicy chicken tacos are packed with tons of flavor. Make them your own and drizzle with your favorite Haven's Kitchen Aioli.

Chef Tip: Temper your chicken for at least 20 minutes before cooking


  • ½ a red onion, sliced thinly

  • Red wine vinegar

  • 1 lb chicken thighs

  • Salt

  • Vegetable oil

  • Corn Tortillas

  • Salsa or chopped tomatoes

  • 1 Jalapeño, sliced

  • Handful of cilantro, chopped

  • Lime, quartered

  • Haven’s Kitchen Sunshine Chili Aioli



In a small bowl, add enough vinegar to cover the sliced onions and massage them for 20 seconds. Set aside


Season the chicken with salt. Add oil on a hot plancha or skillet and once it’s hot, add the chicken and sear it well on both sides, cooking the chicken through to an internal temperature of 165°F. Slice the chicken into strips


Warm the tortillas and top them with chicken, salsa, jalapeño, cilantro, and the pickled red onion. Serve with lime and a big drizzle of Sunshine Chili Aioli
