Create a classic American favorite with our Chili Dogs recipe featuring savory ground beef simmered in Haven’s Kitchen Red Pepper Romesco, topped with sliced jalapeños, and Haven's Kitchen Herby Yuzu Aioli. Your friends & fam are going to love this one!
Chef Tip: For a richer flavor, let the chili simmer for an extra 10-15 minutes, allowing the spices to meld together for a more robust taste.
Chili:
Olive or vegetable oil
1 yellow onion, diced
½ red bell pepper, diced
1 lb. ground beef
1-2 tablespoons chili powder
Salt and Pepper
Hot Dogs:
6 beef franks
6 hotdog buns
Sliced jalapenos, for garnish
Heat oil in a large Dutch oven. Add beef, season with salt and pepper, and cook until browned, about 10-12 minutes.
Remove beef from the pan. Add onion and bell pepper and sauté until soft. Season with salt and pepper.
Return beef to the pan and add 1 pouch Red Pepper Romesco. Add chili powder and cook 25-30 minutes. Meanwhile, grill hot dogs and place in buns.
Top hot dogs with chili, garnish with jalapenos, and a drizzle of Haven's Kitchen Herby Yuzu Aioli. Serve.
